I don't think attractive is a necessary quality. But this reminds me of a corpse in a morgue. Is it supposed to. I think Glenn might be right about something being missing. Maybe within a larger body of work this would make more sense?
With this pose and composition you've drawn a lot of attention to the gentalia. And since it looks like a corpse, that's more than a little disturbing. Right now I'm not sure how to judge this one. It certainly got my attention, though!

I'll be honest and say i'ts strangley erotic, but in a horror movie sort of way. The way I see it, is it is a live woman in wait for something to happen.. I don't see a corpse here. I doubt that was your intention however. I have to give you credit for experimenting and trying something different (at least on this site anyways). Hard to rate as John has said, at least for now.
OK, so he got our attention in a weird sort of way. I find this more interesting than disturbing. However, what appears to be a robe to the lower left, I believe this is an attempt to stage a corpse. If this is the case, then the photography must commit 100% and go for the top view with a super wide angle (hanging from the rafters so to speak). That’s what I would do if I were into that sort of thing! This is very interesting from an Art Curator’s point of view. I'm not sure how to rate this one....

In some strange way we all seem to have somewhat similar reactions and being busy in trying to explain them NO-ONE has mentioned the non-uprights and the non-horizontals. Maybe that helps to make the picture " uncomfortable "
Anyway, I thought this was one of Alison's pictures !
