Found this bird on a hike and just had to get it's picture. I love the way he peeked around the limb to get his picture taken.

Sorry about the image size, I reloaded it and it should be a little better. As for the sharper I told the bird not to move but he did and the picture was taken at a distance at full at 300mm without a tripod by a shaky old man.......

May I say you have my complete understanding as regards shaky hands.
That's where an image stabilizer saves the day (sometimes). Perhaps if we put our heads together we could come up with a brilliant idea for encouraging birds to perch at a more reasonable distance.

This was my first post and I was still learning how to get the size right. I am going to fix it right this time... I think!

As for keeping the birds still there is always the stuffed ones but they are not a fun. Last week I found a dead bumble bee and thought, hey I could just put him on a flower but then I decided it was more fun to chase them through the yard.

Starriderrick, sorry that photo was not one of mine and I do not know anything about the car itself, I do remeber seeing the photo but there is not enough there for me to even give a good guess. Take care and take photos!
