Yes, we missed him greatly........there's quite a story about this dog.......when my children were very young they used to tie him to sleds to pull, they rolled and tumbled with him and one time while they were walking him up the road from the farm house, a neighbor told them he wasn't much of a dog and siced his dog on King.....well, King allmost killed it before they could get them off.....another time, there was a snake in the field and King got between the children and the snake and probably killed the snake.....King always kept the other dogs off the property and one day he killed a neighbors dog....sadly for us all, we were forced to have him euthanized........he protected my children all the time he was alive......the reason we had King, was because my Dad always wanted an Airdale and we found King and bought him from a litter........thanks for your comment
