Now don't ask me why the scholars call The April full moon the pink Moon, so you'll have to figure that out for yourselve. But I thought it was a half good Moon shot worth sharing

A nice sharp image. But as far as subject interest goes, an average shot. I have taken these before during full-moons and after a while considered them a waste of film. Once or twice is ok. I even took a camera to a local observatory (open to the public) before. Mounted a Nikon body on an adaptor to a telescope at night and got a really clear enlargement 4x the size of your moon.

There were summer days in the city where I live when the haze was above normal you can really see the moon turn orange. Not just in name but in color as well. I had also taken moon and sun photos are during eclipses which are rare occurances. You can only view them on a clear day.

Absolutely. As a novice i'll try to take all there guidance and wisdom to heart. I'd hate to post anything that no one would care to look at.!! Thanks for your generous rating of such a boring subject.

"THE MOON" It maybe a boring subject to some,but it is ...fascinating.
I tried my hand at several "moon" shots.

One came out with a green tint...cheeze?

It is or can be boring, but folks keep looking, The most viewed photograph I have on Photo.net is a moon shot that been viewed something like 39,000 time in the past year, Go Figure!!
