Hi and thanks for the comment. I ran the slide through my Nikon 8000 scanner using a prebuilt curve that mimics a light table preview that scans really fast.
Normally for final editions I will use the same scanner, but use 16bit, 4x sampling, and take more than 5 minutues of edit time.
