I don't know what kind of turtle this is but it was sharing the same marsh with a few recent posts. Same marsh, different camera and lens. Slight cropping and sharpening.

I believe it is a Blanding's Turtle. It has a lengthly neck but it can't be confused with the long necked turtle, it has an extremely long snake-like neck.

Too square to be hip.

I cuncur, Blanding's Turtle mydoidea blandingii. You fall within the range, and its a dead ringer for the ones I have seen.
