Are those contrails from aircraft jet exhaust.?
Maybe natural whisps of clouds.
I really like this capture.
The color of the sky is deep, rich,Cobalt blue is a good descriptive.

Ah yes, a legend in my own mind. I really do need to spread more of the wealth of knowledge i've gained over the years, but this new digital has modified the art of photography so much, that I honestly really wonder if there's any interest in photography as a true form of art.

Yes, There is a vast interest in photography as an art.Some of my best shots were spontain' untouched.
Your work inspires me to stick to the basics, keep it simple.
Look at the camera you are using.Old school(the best) The Mamiya C330 is a fine pro. camera. Creating art takes work.
IMHO
Your work stands in the purest form {film format}.Anyone can go digital,
Hats off to your work, I know of many others who look at your gallery in Awe... True that (y)

Well thank you for the most flattering comments. Yes, less is often more. I've been using Mamiya TLRs since I bought my first C-2 in about 1960 for the staggering price of 35 dollars used. Damn, that was almost two weeks pay. I think I have five now,but they never give up and i've rarely had a problem with them. Being a purest in this age of manipulation is tough, because the public has come to expect the extraordinary in photographs ,real or unreal. But I know the days a truly good basic photograph will return when this snapshot instant gradification era is over with. Thanks again, and i'm happy to hear someone out there appreciates my work.

I haven't been the site for a very long time.I came across this I just love ot.DEEEEEP Blue sky,great comp,I have shot a great deal of photos with a C-33 a C-330 and a C-220 back in the 70s in high school,I have a great deal of photos to scan but the scanner has been out for a long time,

Thank you Vaughn. I just love my old Mamiyas and slide film they just go together to produce the best in photography.Sounds like it's time for you to get out there and burn some silver. Thanks again. :thumbsup:
