i told her that i'd put togather a medly of her rash but haven't done it yet...it was crazy!! she had to take a shot and still suffered for a week and a half

Ohhhhh man. That is nasty. I've had a lot of oak - even had it on my face and eye. But never had anything like that. When we've taken my girlfriend's dog to the dogpark, I make her take the dog right to the bath when we get home. And I won't pet the dog. Poison oak is an evil, evil plant. I don't get how it fits in with the evolutionary scheme. Maybe it's proof that there is no evolution and the devil exists :-)

Ouch ! I can relate.
I had a severe case of this from clearing a fire line as a summer volunteer for the Forestry dept. I was 21, I got really scared.It is NOT a pleasant expirience,but it does go it's course.
I highly rec.Drink at least a gallon of water a day.Alot of vitamin B-12 will help get the toxins out,In the final stages Vitamin-E will keep from scarring.

Here's what you have to do for her:

Go to Whole Foods, or equivalent. Ask for "Rhu Tox." It's in the natureopothy section. I have severe allergic reactions to poison oak, poison ivy, etc. If left untreated on me, it lasts for months. This Rhu Tox clears it out in 3 days. Try it.

And tell her she's beautiful even with the rash

FYI -the skin on a mango has the same make up as poison oak-so if you are allergic to poison oak, be mindful of this fruit...............
