Just got my new camera and this is my test shot on automatic settings . Picture mode set on natural. If the image is too big I apologize. I still haven't worked all that out yet

Why thank you very much! I am sooo excited about this camera. Quite easy to use. If the weather clears up I can get out and use it. Too overcast and rainy right now. Pictures are nice and smooth. I am sure I will enjoy it. Thanks again!

Try resizing your shots in a simple microsoft paint format.. just open original image wih paint and go to image then stretch/skew, and experiment with percentages on the size you want viewed. Thats one of the easier ways to do it, just make sure you DONT save to original file, it will change your file size. Always save the file to a different location. Dont forget to make copies of your digital photos on cd's I make 2 copies on CD with every shoot I do (on the images I want saved)

Nice! Congratulations on the new camera. Please post a review for it once you've had it long enough to give it a fair evaluation. And don't worry about the image size. you can upload full-res images on this gallery. They'll be resized for display on the main page, but we'll be able to click for the high-res. It's nice to be able to do that for image quality comparison.

The image looks pretty good. Looks like your depth-of-field was a bit shallow and there may be some camera-shake. It's not quite as sharp as I'd hoped. But you did say it was a test. Still, I wouldn't recommend using full auto. It works, but I prefer full manual and shutter priority and aperture priority will help ensure you eliminate camera-shake and/or blur from shallow depth-of-field.

Thank you so much Photo-John! I am just excited that you commented on one of mine! I am playing with this camera everyday and it has lots of interesting features. I just discovered an anti shock setting which is like the minolta feature. I will turn it on next time. I agree with the aperature priority etc. I just wanted to see what this camera would do. I will be sure to work with it a lot and review it. Thanks again!
