Hi there Glenn, I also really like this image, I love the colours of the ice, and it is pin sharp. I went down to Skellefteå a couple of weeks ago and saw something like this. Unfortunately I was sat on a coach and was unable to get any pictures. Thank's for sharing.

Yes here is Kalix sun up 5.29 and sets at 19.35, compared to Stockholm 6.03-19.39. We have had snow here all day today,maybe 12-15cm so far. It hasn't been a good day for photography lets put it that way. The snow on the ground is above the knees.
