How is your opinion about the camera. It is only one SLR that has swiveled display and possibility to see a picture above the shot will be. I very like it in my compact Canon.

I like it. I got to use an Olympus E-1 for quite a while and I really like the Four Thirds format and the Olympus E-Series cameras. They're small, light, well-made, and the lenses are wonderful. I haven't used any of the cameras besides the E-1, but I like the looks and features of the new E-330 a lot. It would be a huge step up for you and I believe it would make a big difference in your photography. You're taking better and better pictures. It might be a good time to reward yourself and get new creative options by buying a better camera.

Too square to be hip.

You know, as I was looking to switch up from my D30 I had a chance to go for the E300, and I felt it had a lot going for it, but I just felt it was not suited for the kind of work I was doing. However if this lil' guy had been on the market t the time it may have swung my vote. I like it. Still, I think it would take a bit more to pull me away from Canon at this point. I plan on getting a couple of EOS film bodies and a used 1D MKII in the next 2 or so years, so I am pretty locked in now. But that is ok cuz i really love canon. Still, this whole E system thing eats away at a part of me. I think I just wanna have a toe in every pond...

Really, the main benefit of the Four Thirds System is the small size of the cameras and lenses. You have to hold and shoot with one to really understand. The bodies don't seem that much smaller and maybe aren't really any smaller than the Pentax or Rebel XT. But since the lenses have twice as much reach, that's where the size really comes into play. You get twice the power from a lens the same size as an equivalent Canon or Nikon. I really like riding with the one kit lens. It makes such a compact and powerful package. I am really looking forward to trying the E-330.
