Nothing really. This area is like a bird sanctuary with lots of visitors. The finchs here readily land on you in anticipation of food. I didn't have any food but just held my jand up and had several land within seconds.
Yes, I was holding the camera in my other hand AND had to focus as well. Although I had a D200, I happened to have a manual focus lens attached. Luckily I have long fingers.
You might be right. Next time I go there I will ask someone. I just go for the fun of seeing these little guys being so trusting and comfortable around people. Always brings a smile to my face. Thanks for the rating.
