I think this is a nice photo. The steam adds an interesting element that I believe is very important. However, there is a lot of wasted space in the sky and the water. We should always consider whether empty space really adds anything to a photo. If it doesn't, we should compose differently when we shoot, or crop it out, later. In this case, I would crop for a more panoramic image with much less sky and water. Try it out and see if it doesn't significantly strengthen this photo.
This is much, much better! It looks like the gallery is resizing the medium size images in a weird way, though. The proportions are gone. I'll look into that.
You might actually want to delete this one and repost so you can get new ratings. I can't post a new rating on the new one because I've already rated it.
