I love the desolate, alien nature of the shot, very cold yet inviting.

Im not entirely happy with the outcome on this based on two reasons..
I did a reshoot to try and improve a previous shot
and
The "improvements" I incorporated really weren't improvements after all. But the overall outcome isn't bad in my opinion, looking at it again I could have lightened it up a bit more by keeping the shutter open longer.

I really like this shot, however I feel it's let down a little by the lack of any detail in the sky. I would love to see this re-shot on a day with a more interesting sky with perhaps a 0.6 or 0.9 ND Grad Filter.

Nice composition though and foreground interest.
