A bilsted, or sweetgum tree with fruit from the previous season. Bilsted's have been dated back to over 55 Million Years ago and originated in the eastern U.S. The small hanging macelike seeds each contain many fruit with individual flying seed pods. Many animals eat these fruit. This photo was not cropped or modified in CS. The noise was removed from neat image and it was not sharpened either. This is just a photo example of how the R-1 Performs without any modifications. Ill note that there was VERY little noise at iso 400. If anyone is curious I can post the original in camera file.
