This is nice. Good juxtaposition of food and location. I assume that's what the restaurant wanted. Might be a bit tight on the plate. I wish I could see all of the decoration on the plate. I'm also a bit torn about the angle. I'd want to shoot it from a lower angle to make the composition a little more square. But maybe you tried that and it didn't show the plate enough? I realize how complicated a shot like this actually is. You mess with one thing and throws everything else off...

I concur with PJ that this is a nice shot. Great color play. The shadow that falls from the cake across the strawberries kind of detracts from them. A reflector might have minimized it enough. Are the crumbs intentional?
You might try letting the wedge of the dessert sweep down and across the frame. Let the eye naturally fall from the frosting across the top to the strawberry garnee. A pillow or beanbag can help hold the plate at the desired angle.
