A non-adjusted slice of the Kananaskis Country image. Note that I've exposed for the sky so as not to lose the highlights in the clouds. This allows me to adjust the foreground in post-porcessing. You can't realistically expect any camera to meter a scene like this well. Exposure strategy, a test shot, and some post-procseeing are almost always part of getting a good shot. Exposing for the sky allowed me to get the most from the point-and-shoot metering in the Pentax OptioWP, and then set up the photo I wanted, after the fact.
