Awwww - what a great photo! I think running dogs are a great subject for continuous AF testing. They are really hard to shoot. What were your settings for this photo, Armando?

I shot in speed priority 1/1000, set the ISO to 500 as that used f/8, Continuous high (5 fps in my camera) , changed from FX to DX mode so I would concentrate more on keeping the dog in the DX area and also help de AF keep up with the dog, set AF mode to 3D tracking, initially lock focus with the central focus point, camera kept up with the running dog just fine
Actually did some testing because the AFC was back focusing whenever I shot an approaching subject, I did some AF fine tuning on my 70-300 zoom and found it needed a -8 adjustment ( to bring the focus closer to the camera)
