One of the San Juan Mission's bells. My goal was trying to capture the weight of this bell by focusing on the leather strap supporting it.

Interesting shot. Like the sephia look. would like to see a smidge more of the bell so I can tell what it is ( but who am I , I'm just a baby photographer) but I sitll like this shot

Thanks for the imput TTG. It was an attempt at being artistic in that I wanted the focus and main subject to be the tension being created by the weight of the bell. So my thinking was that I wanted to leave out the other subjects just enough that you could tell what they were without dominating the shot. Carrie Nuttall is a photographer I admire who is a master at Tension, so it is my humble attempt at trying to do that kind of project motivated by her work.

I am looking at it now on my Mom's pc who's screen is much better and I think I do like it just the way it is. I like the detail in the strapping. I believe your "attempt" at art was accomplished!
