Thanks Dan. I believe this is a Great Horned Owl. It's a young one, one of three. They appeared to be completely unperturbed by my presence. I used a 300mm + a 1.4 extender and fill flash to open up the shadows and reduce contrast somewhat.Make an IMPACT...shoot stuff with a CANON!
