This is nice, but I definitely agree with jakobevers. The car is too centered and there's a lot of essentially empty space around it. You've got plenty of room to drop, though. I'd crop from the left and a bit from the top, bottom, or both. Leave room on the right to show where the car is going. That gives a sense of motion and tells a little bit of a story.
Did you use the Sports mode for this? Specifically, did you prefocus or was this with the Rebel XT's predictive AF? Because the focus is excellent.

JS this was the first shoot before you gave me some tips. I was useing the sports mode and just keep panning with the car to keep it in focus all the time. Now i do the same but in TV mode with the shutter slower

So the predictive AF works in TV mode on the Rebel XT? I didn't think it did. On the Digital Rebel it only worked in the sports mode. That makes the Rebel XT/350D look even better.

I dont know all the tecno lingo but i will give it a shot. In Timed value mode i can control the shutter from 4000-.30. I can also change the exposure values from -2 thru +2 i believe this is a limited adjusment for aperture. Not sure actually ..... still learning.
But now that i acually looked at what you said i am not sure about the AF i continually press the shutter half way to keep focusing. but i will go test it right now.......... NOPE you are correct JOHN
