My opinion & first recomendation...A good learning "beginner" photoshop is ( ArcSoft Studio ) I use this for resizing, minor edits on 90% of my images posted.
Nikon makes a Capture NX (which I really enjoy using) and now latest version -> NX2 with a pretty steep learning curve though...it takes time.
Adobe Lightroom is fun as well. Adobe has a 30 day free trial on lightroom. If you have the time,patience...Try lightroom. :
Thank you very much for the information. Using the Photoshop software need a lot of guidence otherwise it is going nowhere. I have tried a few and gave up on them.
