Love this! Great composition with wonderful patterns and depth. Where was it taken?
If you're looking for suggestions, if it were mine I'd probably darken and add some contrast to the sky to make it more dramatic. I think I'd also crop it a bit tighter and remove a bit of sky so that the horizon line isn't quite so close to the middle of the frame. It's a great photo, though. The thumbnail really caught my eye. Thanks for sharing it!

Thank you Richard and Rick , PJ this scene was taken in the lower half of the north island of New Zealand after a heavy snow fall in the daly part of the week ( some parts of NZ hadn't seen snow since 1939 )
On the right of the horizon you can just see the volcano Mt Ruapehu , this where the nth island ski fields are . Thanks for the pointers.Pete
