I find it hard to believe that almost 400 people have viewed your image and no one has offered you a comment. So here goes mine: I think that it has potential; It is a bit under exposed but if you brighten the trees it will bring out some more detail. Why a portrait format? It's a landscape so why not a horizontal? You may consider a wider format and a crop of the extended sky. I like the reflection. It is a bit difficult to identify the highlighted subject though.
How right you are NKP68. That was the reason I posted on photo critique! I thank you for your creative criticism, that was exactly what I was looking for. You're right about the landscape format. I'll see what I can do without introducing unwanted composition elements. It does seem a little underexposed. Thank you for your comment.
I see that you had the exposure mode set to manual. Try an auto setting and let the camera pick the exposure time. I'm going to make a wild guess that you had this on a tripod or it would have been blurry.
