Awesome - love it! Kitten photos are usually a faux pas with photographers. But I'm a sucker for kitty cats. Plus, strangely, my cat loves it when I grab his head and even his face like this. You'd think he'd get panicky and clautrophobic. But no, he loves to have his head and face squeezed.
Your light with the black background works well with this photo, too. I might crop even a little more from the bottom to make it less square. I think that might make the composition even better.
