i really can't get enough of these IR images...so surreal and yet so real at the same time. they seem to have a dreamy quality that really appeals to me. well done!!

That's very cool, Carl. I think the subject is a good one for infrared. I'd actually like to see a bit more infrared effect - brighter foliage and more of that misty IR glow. Did you convert the camera yourself or did you have someone do it for you?

Hey John,

I had the camera converted at Spencers Camera in Utah (in your neck of the woods I believe). Clarence has converted two of my cameras to IR and does a great job. The reason for the less than usual IR look, is because of the lower intensity of the sunlight (late day and shadows), and the 665nm filter (it lets in more of the color light spectrum).
