Too square to be hip.

This is a very sad and ominous composition. It's quite nice actually, but i find it very hard to look at for some reason. Also the lack of detail in her left eye is quite distracting.

I like that you find it hard to look at...not an easy photo to process. Her eye falls black and the birds takes over., to balance it out..but thats not intentional, thats a nice "accident". The slide is alot better, this is a poor scan unfortunately.,the original is alot less contrasty, but still basically the same feeling.
