This one is my favorite so far. I love the cryptic feeling, this sort of ominess overtone brought on by the deep vignetting and the beautifully dark shadows. I don't think this shot would have worked in color. I really don't think most of them would. The appeal for me is the fact that they look like screen shots form the slient movies of the early 1900's, and late 1800's.
They are just wonderful.
