Interesting combination of shapes: rounded 'river' rocks, linear steel beam, and other objects I'm not familiar with. I get no sense of scale or what these things are. Even the title is a bit puzzling. What am I looking for, a car jack, maybe a bottle of Jack Daniels?
Nice idea of diagonal separation of frame but I would need more of the surroundings to satisfy my eye.
Perhaps a different crop? Thanks for sharing.

Ed,First off..Thanks for an outstanding Critique. :thumbsup:

My intention was to get a good ol' fashion C&C going, see what we can learn from each other.I stumbled upon this industrial jumble, it got me thinking, confused as the scene was,is so complex.
It was intentionally croppped to create even more jumble,confuse the viewer,the title had to be confusing as well.

Now...I'll post the full view,we will learn.

Much appreciated, again..thanks for the great in-depth analysis.

So much for trying to provoke.
I joined this site to get meaningful critique of my work, not just "nice shot" or "great capture". I feel that I need this in order to grow as a photographer
I realize that there are many pix to evaluate so the majority just get passed by.
