I like the diagonal comp, the timing of the drop splashing.In my opinion crop the lower 3rd to just below the leaf...a lower angle would reveal more texture, detail / lightplay.Also try F/10, a higher iso for increased depth of field, sharpness.

Rick, thanks for the suggestions. I had another shot at about F10, but because I was doing it hand-held, I wasn't still enough for it to be sharp...hence the move to F2. Next time I will use my tripod and higher F stop at a lower angle so that I might get a cleaner shot of a drop splashing....but, slower shutter speeds at higher F stops will not show the same type of splash from a drop. There's always something to play with.
