This photo was made off my deck in Suisun City CA. The amber hue of the palm tree is due to the amber lights along the harbor walkway. The only post-editing was a hue adjustment to bring some blue into the sky. I do not have a tripod yet...that may have given me sharper results on the palm tree. Appreciate any other suggestions....

Hi Magik, welcome to photographyreview.com. Nice framing of the moon with the palm fronds, along with the moon's reflection on the water.
As a suggestion, how about placing the palm trunk in the right side of the image -- can you stand in another spot on your deck? The viewers eye goes from left to right, and stops at the strong line of the trunk, so the moon is a bit lost. Thanks Pam! Great feedback and great ideas. How about I flip the image and repost. Although it doesn't look like it, the picture is level. Look at the thin line of clouds below the moon. I think the way the hills and water line fall to the left are playing tricks. I will repost this evening. Thanks again.
