Nice timing, Brian! Exposure looks good too, although I think it could be lightened a bit in the shadows. It would be nice to see the sirfer pop out just a little more.
The biggest issue I see with this image is the composition. I think your surfer is a little too centered and that sort of traps the eye in the middle of the photo. In a more off-center composition the viewer's gaze is encouraged to look around a little more at the details. In this case I'd probably crop a bit from the left and a bit from the top in order to keep the same proportions. I wouldn't want to lose the wake from the board, hence the crop from the left.
