Mill Creek, in the mountains above Salt Lake City, after three weeks of late spring rain. This was taken handheld at 1/10th of a second, thanks to the Olympus E-P1's built-in image stabilization.

This was shot RAW and then converted to a TIFF using Olympus Studio 2 software. I then made a masked adjustment layer in Photoshop. I lightened the whole thing except for the hot spot in the creek, which has a mask to hold it back.
