I really like this version of the transamerica (or rather, the location in which is was taken)...however feel the crop is way too tight on the bottom, and lacks in clarity.

I agree about the tight crop you mention. I was on a set of stairs somewhere near Vallejo, I put the camera on a wall over my head so I couldn't really see the image. I used F stop at 4.5 standard OEV and apperture of 8. I think if I expanded the view finder I would have taken more of the houses and trees in the immediate area. I'll try it next time I am over there and see what happens. Thanks for the feedback! Kevin
