Stu - Great attempt here at capturing the Hibiscus. A tip - increase your depth of field by shooting at the smallest aperture you can. It looks as though this exposure was closer to f3.5 than f11 or f16. The Oly has a depth of field preview mode that is helpful in determining DOF prior to exposure. If the shutter speed becomes an issue - raise the ISO a bit each shot until you reach full sharp. Love your work and your compositions - Thanks for sharing! :thumbsup:
thanks for the comments. I think that when I took this the air was not still and there was some movement so I was concerned about just getting it when it was somewhat still. I checked the EXIF info and found that it was actually f9. (yeah, I was surprised too). In any case, I think you are correct about getting the DOF set better.
