This couple must be very happy to find food in the middle of winter. :O)

Tim,I have a question... not a critique. Noise, is it intentional? I can't imagine a high end camera such as the E3 to perform in this fashion. If it is not added,I would say..this may be a result of under exposure.I'm curious, I'm here to learn.
I really like the shot, I suggest push this through a free trial version of neat image NR software. This would make a great print on metallic paper.

Thanks for the comment Rick - I did PUSH this image. It was quite cloudy and dark. I know that noise is added and ugh - I felt this PUNCHED image seemed more attractive than the very low key and flat image produced naturally. I think I need to balance my use of "Post-processing" tools and try and get back to good exposure scenarios. What would have worked very well here is a remote flash system near the feeder, and to "Fill" the subject with proper light balance. I welcome your comment and critique always - regard you as a friend and a big part of my professional development. Thanks for you eye. I will try your recommendation for push through "Neat Image," as I often push the threshold of reciprocity effect! :-) Thanks again.

Rick - ran this through NR software both Neat Image, and through my Topaz Denoise software, results very similar and VERY GOOD! Thanks for the tip. I will work with more confidence now using a bit of "Noise Reduction," when needed. Your comments are very appreciated!
