Good interior photograph. The 'extra' ceiling at the top even helps to balance the rest of the image
Is the dark area at the bottom just a carpet transition? If so I'd wonder if the photo would work better with it more symmetrically balance with the top or if the area of dark a the bottom should be removed/cropped etc.
One possibility would be to selectively bring up any extra detail in the carpet and match the proportion of the top to bottom OR make the top twice the heighth of the bottom. Matched proportioning is visually better design.
You did a fine job of keeping all the verticals and horizontals straight. Important for this image. !!
