How could i improve this?

Robusto, how about moving the horizon down to the lower third of the frame -- the colors in the sky are the subject here, so give them more emphasis. To get some foreground detail, possibilities include a longer shutter speed (and tripod), higher ISO, exposure compensation and/or using a low light (flash, etc.). With each of those ideas come a lot of details that need more room than a quick comment -- some photo books and photo mag articles cover this pretty well. Also, cloudy white balance is best for keeping the color of sunrises/sets (not sure of your shooting data for this one). The most dramatic sunrises/sets also have more clouds in the sky or water with reflections. Fall and winter usually have the best sunrises/sets (depending on where you are), so get out there as much as possible, practice and experiment, and you'll be ready for the right one when it happens.
