Wow! That's awesome. How much post-processing went into this image? It's a great photo, regardless. I consider what you get in the camera to just be the starting point. But I'm really curious about this one. Did you use flash on the balsam root flowers? Did you bracket and then use the separate photos to assemble this?

Thanks John! There was actually quite a bit of post processing on this one but that's just because I failed to nail the exposure in the feild the first time and wasn't using a polarizer, ND filter etc. This is very close to what I saw at the time of capture with a touch more saturation.
Thanks for the reply. And I'm not one to judge for post-processing. I was just curious. My goal is always to share my experience. And that's not necessarily the same as what something actually looked like. In fact, usually it's very different.
I'm really glad I saw this. It's very different from most Teton photos I've seen. I hope you share lots more

Breathtaking, yet gentle. The Grand peaks, wrapped by towering pines in the foreground, and the carpet of grasses punctuated by the well placed color and sprite of the daisies.
