Very thoughtful image. I have seen this time and time again, and I get cold feet and do NOT shoot street musicians without fainting first! Ha! I love this shot, and I will use this effort as an incentive to step out and not be shy. I really think you hit this one spot on! Great shot and thanks for the inspiration! - Tim

Tim, I don't find it easy to shoot street photography either but I like what it can produce so I throw myself into it. I generally like taking a shot of someone when their not looking, makes it easier and I like the outcome, "a photo in the moment, no pretense" for me they have more feeling. As noted I used the 70-300mm, but when I shoot musicians indoor I use the Nikon f2.8, 105mm. I have a couple of these shots in my gallery. If I plan on taking several I'll generally ask the player if it's OK and offer them a copy via email if they wish. So far no one has said no. When you're in the street try and blend in, don't be too obvious and you can have a bunch of fun at markets or busy streets. Good Luck, love to see some shots when you get them.
