This is an arm's-length self-portrait of my teeth taken on the trail in Park City, Utah. It hasn't been adjusted at all and has been posted at the original resolution. It was shot RAW with the Sigma DP1, converted to a 16-bit TIFF without any adjustment, and then the logo and border were added and it was resaved as a maximum quality JPEG in Photoshop CS3. Not the out-of-focus background. That wouldn't be possible with another compact digital camera. The DSLR-sized Foveon X3 sensor makes selective focus a reality with the Sigma DP1.
