Top shelf photograph here. I am simply amazed at the full tonal range displayed. From the whites to the full and visible shadow areas, sharp and focused to a tee. This will go from here to one of my "Favorites." Great shot - you and that Sony A350 ROCK!

I knew the flower was an Iris - I just assumed everyone would. The leopard like area at the petals edge near the stamens, and the ruffled pedals shouted out " I R I S!" I just LOVE this shot. It is the 3rd time today I have opened it and marveled at the great job you've done with it.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
The Iris is a wonderful flower in the way it lends itself to abstracts. You did an exception job with this example. Did you also use an artificial light source to produce the center glow?Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
