It just is...what it is. I prefer to create what "could be" a microscopic view of something but isnt., macro photography is capturing what is inside a greater being, my photography is creating the idea of being inside. (or have I rambled on?)

When I say what it is, it ruins it, but because we are all "artists" here I believe in sharing knowledge & technique.
It is a 10cent glass dish, water, glycerin & vegetable dye, lit from above & underneath. Sigh

Cool. I like that you told me. Because no I know you actually created this and didn't just find it. It would be cool if you found this and took the picture. But knowing that you actually made it makes it better for me. Do you know the old Cocteau Twins album covers? They're great examples of art like you're doing.

I dont know the album covers you speak of but it will be interesting checking it out. Yes, my photography career started back in the 80's...(no digital contamination yet) I had to MAKE all my photo's happen by hand.
But I have learned to live peacefully with my digital colleagues, and now fool with photoshop but I still only shoot film. Thank you for your comments I appreciate them.
