I rented the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L to use with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for a friend's wedding. I had it ove Memorial Day weekend so I also made it a point to take it out for some mountain bike photos. And it is a beautiful lens. You can see the nice, smooth out-of-focus quality in the background at f/4 and this was shot using AI Servo continuous auto focus and it's excellent - even in this very shaded section of trail. If I owned a full-frame Canon digital SLR, I would have to also own this lens.
