I used the G1's iA Intelligent Auto shooting mode for this photo. I've been very impressed with the iA mode. In this case, the camera automatically selected the portrait scene mode and face detection focused on her face and exposed the image nearly perfectly. I made a little adjustement in Lightroom just to add a little contrast.
