About ten years ago my grandfather ate an apple and dried some of the seeds. He plated it and years later it has grown about 8 feet tall so far. He is no longer with us but we always think of him when we see this tree in the backyard.

These are some of the first leave sprouting for this season. The web of branches in the background is what I like about it the most.
