Thanks for the comments guys. This one leaf was just sort of sun spoted, a lighter leaf among dark ones, like it had been picked out for me to take a picture of. Glad you like it.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I think I like it because the focus of the shot is the subject matter, and the dominant leaf in the shot stands out... where you get enough of the others to see what they are but they don't take from the main subject. The lighting is nice because it matches the subject matter perfectly. The sullen lighting matches the dead leaves just right. Nice shot Larry,
