There may be some color issues with the Rebel XT or setting that will help you achieve what you are looking for. I'd suggest you try PR's cannon form and talk tho the guys there someone may have some ideas for you.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Good lines. When I was at this spot (Alviso) a few weeks ago, I got some good pix around here, too. It's an interesting area--seems bare at first (except for the swarms of bugs!), but when you look closer, there's actually a lot going on. I got to know this place last Saturday when I went to there for a bird photography semina. I found there are lots of bird but my lenses is not powerful enough to shoot any. Definitely I will go back to there in the future. I am looking forward to seeing your pictures.
