thanks kids, and i wouldn't mind trying to carve a shift knob for the jeep rick since i've never even considered one before and it's a great idea. i guess that i'd need some dimensions etc so that you wouldn't ram your hand into the dash or something and you'd have to tap it out since i don't have any of those tools. once these gnomes are painted they are pretty cool and might even stand up to some rigorous use.
