I took this during a recent trip to Egypt, including a side trip to Mt. Sinai. This is not Mt. Sinai, but one of the mountains in the range. It is taken from St. Catherine's monastary, which is at the foot of Mt. Sinai (you know, the is the place where the tradition is that Moses got the 10 commandments)

I just happened to catch the light, it was gone a moment later.
